A Simple Slow Down Ritual

You don’t need an hour.
You need intention.
Try this once this week:
1. Choose your moment. Sunrise. Late afternoon light. Before bed.
(Consistency builds safety.)
2. Create a small container.
Light a candle.
Step outside.
Sit on the floor.
No phone. No multitasking.
3. Breathe intentionally.
Inhale for 4.
Exhale for 6.
Stay for 3–5 minutes.
4. Ask one question: What is asking for my attention right now?
Don’t force an answer.
Let it rise.
5. Close gently.
Place your hand on your heart or abdomen.
Whisper thank you.
Return to your day slowly.
That’s it.
Simple. Repeatable. Grounding.
A Nervous System Reset (For Busy Days)
When you feel rushed, scattered, or overstimulated:
Put one hand on your chest and one on your belly.
Lengthen your exhale.• Soften your jaw.
Relax your tongue from the roof of your mouth.
Drop your shoulders one inch.
Stay there for 60 seconds.
Most people underestimate how quickly the body can recalibrate when given safety cues.
If You Want to Go Deeper
Slowing down becomes more accessible inside a held container.
In a space where silence is allowed.
Where sunrise is witnessed intentionally.
Where your nervous system can fully exhale.
If you feel called to experience this depth of presence, we host intimate Sedona retreats designed for restoration, nervous system renewal, and spacious integration. Offerings are available as scheduled immersions or private experiences, from one to seven days.
You’re always welcome to reach out if you’re curious.
