Yoga in Sedona
All-Levels Vinyasa Flow: This class is a great place to start if you are new to yoga, are looking for asana variations, or for the opportunity to grow in your practice by moving deeper into the asanas (poses). This class affords both the beginner yogi and advanced yogi time and space for their individual practices. Asanas will be cued providing numerous variations and opportunities for expansions. Vinyasa Flow: This class is traditionally for individuals who are familiar with and have previously practiced moderate to advanced-level asanas, and who are familiar with their own asana variations and expansions. Participants can elect to take, or not take, as many "flows" that will be offered by the instructor. The pace of this class is traditionally moderate to fast and provides the participant the opportunity for a more rigorous asana sequencing. (Contact us to schedule a private event.)
Yin Yoga: A slower-paced type of yoga combining Hatha Yoga principles with Daoyin principles. Asana sequencing is specific to stimulating energy channels (Nadis or Meridians) in the body. Asanas are held for longer periods of time, and this longer duration is meant to moderately and slowly stretch muscles, ligaments, tendons, and other connective tissues.
